New Addiction & Recovery Peer Support Group on the 2nd Wednesday of each month! 6-7 pm PST
BAAC's Addiction & Recovery Peer Support Group is a one-hour peer support session for autistic adults who are struggling with addiction and in recovery. This is a secular group and is not a 12-step group.
We meet on the SECOND WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH.
Our facilitator, Bird, is a trans-autistic person in their fifth year of sobriety.
Accessibility Info:
Zoom provides closed captions. We are actively seeking funds to provide ASL/CART for all of our groups. However, we are a very small organization working on a shoestring. Translators add costs and take time to arrange, and, simply put, we do not have the funds to provide them on demand 100% of the time. Therefore, ASL/CART requests must be received at least 48 hours before the group meeting you plan to attend so we can do our best to meet your needs. Thank you for your understanding.
To make an ASL or CART request or discuss other accessibility needs, please email bird@bayareaautismcollective.org.
